TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The PA Department of Agriculture seeks candidates for temporary Laborers, Equipment
Operators and Security Officers for the 2010 Annual Farm Show. Positions are located
at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, PA.
Laborer duties include event preparation, set-up/tear-down of stalls and pens, normal
show maintenance, and other duties as assigned. $11.66/hr
Equipment Operator duties include operating forklifts, performing laborer and other
duties as assigned. Candidates must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL). $13.14/hr
Applicants are needed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. The duration of employment for
laborers and equipment operators will be from December 2009 through January 2010,
with the possibility of extended employment. Security officer positions are called
to work on an as-needed basis, year round.
